Privacy policy

Summary: what you process with our tools stays on your device.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Who we are

The site herramientas-web.com (hereinafter “Herramientas Web” or “we”) offers free tools that run in the browser. For any privacy-related question you can write to [email protected].

2. Your files and text are not uploaded

The Herramientas Web tools process the files, images, text, and data you enter directly in your browser, using technologies such as JavaScript and WebAssembly. That content is not sent to our servers or to third parties, and we do not collect, store, or analyze it.

Some tools look up public data over the internet (for example, currency exchange rates). In those cases your browser requests that data from the corresponding provider; we do not send the content you entered, but the provider can see your IP address, as in any web visit. Each tool's page states when this happens.

The third-party software the site uses (libraries, artificial intelligence models, typefaces, and data sources) is listed, with its license and link, on the licenses and third-party credits page.

3. Data we do process

  • Server logs. Our hosting and network provider (Cloudflare) may record technical data about each request, such as the IP address, the browser type, and the page visited, in order to operate and protect the site.
  • Usage statistics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-oriented measurement service that does not use cookies, does not build a profile of the person, and does not track them across sites. It helps us learn which pages are visited so we can improve the site.
  • Storage on your device. We store locally your theme preference (light or dark), the list of tools you have used recently and, if you pick one in a country section’s selector, your country. This information lives in your browser and you can delete it whenever you like. To show you your country’s tools, the site reads your device’s time zone in your browser: it is never sent or stored. See Cookies and storage.
  • Messages you send us. If you write to us by email or through the contact form, we use your name, your address, and the content of the message only to reply to you.

Contact form. When you use the Contact form, your name, your email, and your message are transmitted in encrypted form through Cloudflare's infrastructure to our mailbox. They are not sent to any other recipient and do not generate an automatic copy or reply. To prevent automated submissions we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that does not require you to solve puzzles and does not use tracking cookies; you can review how it handles data in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

With each submission we store, for a maximum of 24 hours, an irreversible fingerprint derived from your IP address (never the IP address in the clear), together with temporary usage counters, solely to limit abuse of the form. You can ask us to delete a message you have sent by writing to [email protected].

4. Advertising

The site may display ads from Google AdSense and its advertising partners. These third parties may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, measure their performance and, depending on your settings and your location, personalize them based on your visits to this and other sites.

  • Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
  • You can turn off ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, or turn off third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
  • If you access the site from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will ask for your consent through a consent management platform before using advertising cookies, and you can change your decision at any time.

Ads are shown in fixed spaces and never inside a tool's work area. Advertisers do not have access to the files you process.

5. Your rights

You can request access to, rectification of, or erasure of the personal data we hold about you (for example, your email messages) by writing to [email protected]. If you reside in the European Union, you also have the right to portability, to restriction of processing, and to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

If you reside in Argentina, Law No. 25,326 on Personal Data Protection guarantees you the right of access, rectification, and erasure. The Agency for Access to Public Information, as the supervisory body under Law No. 25,326, has the authority to handle complaints and claims filed regarding non-compliance with the rules on personal data protection.

6. Minors

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

7. Security and retention

Because the content you process does not reach our servers, we cannot see it, keep it, or lose it. Technical logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider, and email messages for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to the regulations. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date.
