Changing the draw, the deck, or the points starts a new game.
How to play
- Build the seven columns in descending sequences that alternate colors: a black 6 on a red 7.
- You can move several cards together if they form a sequence. Only a king can go in an empty column.
- Move the cards to the foundations by suit, from ace to king. You win when all four are complete.
- Select the stock to draw. With draw 3, only the top card of the waste pile can be played. When the stock runs out, select it to turn the waste pile over again.
- Select a card to send it to a foundation or a column on its own. You can also drag it.
- Keyboard: arrow keys to move between piles, up and down to choose which card of a column to start from, Enter or Space to pick up and drop, Escape to cancel, F for the foundation, U to undo, Y to redo, H for a hint, N for a new game.

How to use it
- Build columns in descending order that alternate colors: a black 6 on a red 7, for example. Only a king can go in an empty column.
- Move cards to the four foundations, from ace to king and in the same suit. You win when all four are complete.
- Move by dragging a card or by selecting it: it goes to its best spot on its own. When you have no moves, draw from the stock.
- If you get stuck, use Hint or Undo, which has no limit. With the keyboard, use the arrow keys, Enter to pick up and drop, and F for the foundation.
- When all the cards are face up, select “Auto-complete” and the game finishes for you.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between drawing 1 or 3 cards?
With draw 1 you turn over one card at a time and can go through the stock as many times as you like: it is easier. With draw 3 you turn over three cards and can only play the top one, so the order matters more and winning is harder. You can switch modes in Settings.
Can every game be won?
No. Some random deals have no solution. If you turn on “Winnable deals only,” the game tries deals on your device until it finds one that a solver has already beaten from start to finish. That way you know there is a way out, even if you still have to find it.
Can I play with just the keyboard?
Yes. The arrow keys move the cursor between the stock, the waste pile, the foundations, and the columns; up and down choose which card of a column you pick up. Enter or Space picks up and drops, F sends the card to the foundation, U undoes, Y redoes, and H gives a hint. Every move is announced for screen readers.
How is the score calculated?
Moving a card from the waste pile to a column scores 5, and to a foundation 10. From a column to a foundation scores 10, and turning a card face up scores 5. Moving a card down from a foundation costs 15. On draw 1, recycling the stock costs 100; on draw 3 it costs 20 starting with the fourth pass. You can play without points in Settings.
What is the daily challenge, and is my game saved?
The daily challenge is the same deal for everyone who plays with the same settings (deck and draw), and it changes once a day, at the same moment for everyone. Your game in progress, your stats, and your settings are saved only in this browser: there is no account and no server. You can also copy a link to a game so someone else plays the same deal.
Is there solitaire with a Spanish deck?
Yes. In Settings, switch to the 40-card Spanish deck (coins, cups, swords, and batons). The rules are the same: columns alternate between the warm suits, coins and cups, and the cool ones, swords and batons. The jack, knight, and king take the places of 10, 11, and 12.
Free Klondike Solitaire, no sign-up
Klondike is the best-known solitaire card game. It is played with a 52-card deck laid out in seven columns, a stock, and four foundations. This game runs entirely in your browser: nothing to download, no account to create, and your game stays saved in case you close the tab.
The rules in brief
- Columns are built in descending order and alternating colors: a red 5 goes on a black 6.
- You can move several cards together if they already form a sequence.
- An empty column can only be filled with a king, or with a sequence that starts with a king.
- The foundations are built by suit, from ace to king.
- When you have no moves, draw from the stock. With draw 3, only the top card can be played.
What this solitaire includes
- Unlimited undo and redo, so you can try an idea and go back.
- Hints that point to a possible move and tell you which card to move.
- Winnable deals, checked with a solver, if you do not want to waste time on a game with no way out.
- A daily challenge with the same deal for everyone, plus stats and a winning streak.
- Readable cards: a four-color option for color blindness, a 40-card Spanish deck, and three card backs.
- Accessible: playable with just the keyboard or just taps, and it announces every move to screen readers.
Tips for winning more games
- Uncover the columns with the most face-down cards first.
- Do not move a 5 or a 6 to the foundation if it can still serve as a base for a card of the other color.
- Try to clear a whole column when you have a king available.
