WhatsApp QR code generator
The generator is already set to WhatsApp: choose the country, enter your number, and add a starting message if you want.
Enter your content and your QR code appears here.

If you leave out https://, it’s added automatically.
Enter it the way you dial it in your country, with the area code. We remove any leading 0 (and Argentina’s 15) and add the country code for you.
Scanning it opens the phone app with this number.
You can copy the coordinates from your maps app: press and hold a spot and tap the numbers.
Scanners need a clear border around the code. We recommend 4 modules.
Use a code color darker than the background so every scanner can read it.
Optional. Upload your logo as PNG, JPG, WebP, or SVG; it’s centered on the code.
The bigger it is, the harder it is to read. Up to 25% usually works well.
Medium tolerates up to 15% damage. More correction means more dots, but the code better withstands scratches and blurry prints.

How to use it
- Choose the content type (URL, text, WhatsApp, Wi-Fi, contact, email, phone, SMS, or location) and fill in the details.
- On the Design tab, choose colors, a gradient, and the shape of the dots and corners. If you want, add your logo on the next tab.
- Check the preview: the tool tests that the code reads correctly with the design you chose and warns you if the contrast is low.
- Download it as a PNG (512, 1024, or 2048 pixels) or as an SVG to print at any size, or copy the image to the clipboard.
Frequently asked questions
What number should I enter?
Type the number the way you dial it from your country, with the area code. The tool removes any leading 0, adds the country code, and shows you the full number before you download.
What happens when someone scans it?
WhatsApp opens a chat with you. If you wrote a starting message, it appears already typed and the person only has to send it. They do not need to have your number saved.
Does the QR code expire?
No. It is a static code: the content lives inside the image and works as long as your number stays active. It does not depend on any server or subscription.
What a WhatsApp QR code is for
A WhatsApp QR code opens a chat with a number directly, with a message already typed if you add one. It works on business cards, shop windows, flyers, and presentations: the person scans it and starts writing without saving your contact.
How to set it up well
Enter the number without the + sign, the way you would dial it. The tool adds the country code and shows you the final number before you generate the code. Add a starting message such as “Hi, I’d like to ask about…” to keep incoming requests organized. For a network, see the WiFi QR code; for your details, the contact QR code; or go back to the QR code generator.
