WiFi QR code generator
The generator is already set to Wi-Fi: enter the network name and password to build the code.
Enter your content and your QR code appears here.

If you leave out https://, it’s added automatically.
Enter it the way you dial it in your country, with the area code. We remove any leading 0 (and Argentina’s 15) and add the country code for you.
Scanning it opens the phone app with this number.
You can copy the coordinates from your maps app: press and hold a spot and tap the numbers.
Scanners need a clear border around the code. We recommend 4 modules.
Use a code color darker than the background so every scanner can read it.
Optional. Upload your logo as PNG, JPG, WebP, or SVG; it’s centered on the code.
The bigger it is, the harder it is to read. Up to 25% usually works well.
Medium tolerates up to 15% damage. More correction means more dots, but the code better withstands scratches and blurry prints.

How to use it
- Choose the content type (URL, text, WhatsApp, Wi-Fi, contact, email, phone, SMS, or location) and fill in the details.
- On the Design tab, choose colors, a gradient, and the shape of the dots and corners. If you want, add your logo on the next tab.
- Check the preview: the tool tests that the code reads correctly with the design you chose and warns you if the contrast is low.
- Download it as a PNG (512, 1024, or 2048 pixels) or as an SVG to print at any size, or copy the image to the clipboard.
Frequently asked questions
How does a WiFi QR code work?
The code stores the network name (SSID), the password, and the security type. When someone scans it with their phone’s camera, the phone offers to join that network, so nobody has to type anything.
Is it safe to share the password this way?
The QR code contains the password as plain text, so anyone who scans it can connect. Put it only where you want guests to join, and make a new code (and change the password) if you stop wanting them to have access.
Which security type should I choose?
WPA/WPA2/WPA3 is what most home and office networks use. If your network is open, choose “No password”. If you are not sure, check the security type in your router settings.
How to create a WiFi QR code
A WiFi QR code saves you from reading out the password to every visitor: enter the network name, the password, and the security type, and the finished code connects anyone who scans it. It works well for a cafe, an office, a rental, or a home that often has guests.
Make sure it scans
Print the code at least 0.8 inches (2 cm) wide, with dark dots on a light background and a margin around it. Test it with a phone before you stick it on the wall, and download the SVG if you want to print it large. You can also make a WhatsApp QR code, a URL QR code, or go back to the full QR code generator.
