Step by step

How to use it

  1. Drop your PDFs (or JPG, PNG, and WebP images) into the box, or choose them from your device. You can add more at any time.
  2. Put the files in order by dragging them or with the move up and move down buttons. Use “Sort A-Z” if they are numbered, and rotate any that are sideways.
  3. To mix pages from different files, switch to the “Pages” view: there you can move, rotate, or remove each page.
  4. Choose a name for the final file, select “Merge PDF,” and download it. If you like, compress it or add page numbers next.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Your PDFs are merged inside your browser, on your own device. The files never leave it, so you can safely merge contracts, invoices, or personal documents.

Does merging PDFs reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, without recompressing images or text. The result is roughly the same size as the originals combined. If you need a smaller file, use “Compress PDF” afterward. Links to websites are kept; internal links, form fields, and bookmarks from the originals are not, and the tool flags every file that has them.

Can I merge images and PDFs together?

Yes. Each JPG, PNG, or WebP image becomes one page of the final document, keeping its original proportions and never larger than an A4 sheet. Phone photos are straightened based on their orientation.

How do I change the page order?

In the “Files” view you reorder whole documents. In the “Pages” view you see every thumbnail together and can drag, rotate, or remove pages before merging.

One of my PDFs has a password. What should I do?

You will see a notice on that file. Select “Unlock” to remove the password with our tool (you need to know it), then come back to merge it. Meanwhile, the other files can be merged as usual.

How many files can I merge?

Up to 100 files of up to 300 MB each. The real limit depends on your device memory: on a phone, it is best to stay under a few hundred MB in total. If merging fails because of memory, try smaller batches.

How to merge PDFs without losing quality

Merging PDFs means copying the pages of several documents into a new one. Because nothing is recompressed, text stays selectable, images keep their resolution, and links to websites keep working. What is not kept are internal links between pages, form fields, and the bookmarks of each original file.

Tips for a clean result

  • Name your files with numbers (01-cover, 02-report) and select “Sort A-Z”: they end up in the right order without dragging anything.
  • Check the thumbnails before merging. If a scan is sideways, turn it with the rotate button.
  • Create bookmarks if the final document is long: each original file becomes an entry in the viewer outline.
  • Compress the result if you plan to email it or upload it to a form with a size limit.
