Step by step

How to use it

  1. Drop your PDF into the box or select it from your device. If it has a password, we will ask for it.
  2. Select the pages you want to convert. All of them are chosen by default; you can also type a range, for example 1-3, 5.
  3. Choose the resolution and the quality. 150 DPI works for screens and 300 DPI for printing.
  4. Select “Convert to JPG” and download a single image or all of them together in a ZIP.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The conversion happens inside your browser, on your own device. The PDF and the images never leave it, so you can convert private documents with peace of mind.

Which resolution should I choose?

To view the images on a screen or send them in a message, 150 DPI is enough. For printing, use 300 DPI. With 72 or 96 DPI you get very small files, useful for thumbnails. The higher the resolution, the more detail and the bigger the file.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Select the thumbnails to check or uncheck pages, or type a range such as “1-3, 5.” With Shift + click you select several in a row. The counter tells you how many are chosen.

How do I download all the pages?

If the PDF has several pages, the main button downloads a ZIP with one image per page, with names in order such as “document-page-01.jpg.” You can also download each image separately from the list of results.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

If you know the password, type it when the tool asks and you will be able to convert the file. The password is only used on your device. If the PDF has editing restrictions but opens without a password, it works too.

Why does my page come out at a lower resolution than the one I chose?

Browsers limit the maximum size of an image, especially on phones. With very large blueprints or posters we lower the resolution automatically and let you know. Try a lower DPI if you need more room.

How to convert a PDF to JPG without losing quality

A PDF stores text, images, and vectors in a format designed for printing. When you convert it to JPG, each page is drawn as a photo: you lose the ability to select the text, but you get a file that opens anywhere, can be uploaded to a website, or pasted into a document.

Resolution and quality: which values to use

  • 72 to 96 DPI: thumbnails and previews. The files weigh very little.
  • 150 DPI: the middle ground. It reads well on a screen and on a phone.
  • 200 to 300 DPI: for printing or enlarging details such as small print and blueprints.

A JPG quality of 90% keeps the text sharp without bloating the file. If you need transparency or very crisp edges, try PNG output in the same tool.

And if what you want are the photos in the PDF

This tool converts whole pages. If you only need the embedded images, at their original size, use an image extractor for PDF files instead.
