Frequently asked questions
When should I use 300 DPI?
When you need to print the result or enlarge it to read small print, blueprints, or charts. The higher the resolution, the more detail and also the bigger each image.
What happens if the page is very large?
Browsers limit the maximum size of an image. With huge blueprints or posters the tool lowers the resolution automatically and tells you.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. Select the thumbnails or type a range such as “1-3, 5.” Each page you choose becomes a JPG image.
Convert to JPG at the best resolution
To print a PDF as images or to enlarge a detail, 300 DPI is the right choice, because it is the standard printing resolution. This page leaves it selected, so all you have to do is upload the PDF and choose the pages.
Keep an eye on the size
At 300 DPI each image weighs quite a bit more. If the final file is too big, download a ZIP and compress it afterward. If the destination is a screen, the small version for web and email may suit you better. To go back, use PDF to JPG.
