How to use it
- Select a shortcut (current month, next 3 months, full year…) or set the period yourself: one month, a range, a full year or a half year.
- Choose the paper size (Letter, A4, Legal or A3), the design and the country. Federal holidays are marked on the grid and listed by name.
- Turn on what you need: week numbers, moon phases, space for notes, mini calendars or your own title.
- Check the preview, flip through the pages with the arrows, then download the PDF or print it. Copy the link to get the same calendar again.
Frequently asked questions
How do I print without cutting off the margins?
Every page keeps at least 0.5 in (12 mm) free on all four sides, more than most printers need. In the print dialog, pick the same paper size you chose in the tool and set the scale to 100% or “Actual size”. If the dialog says “Fit to page”, the calendar shrinks a little but is never cut.
Which paper size should I choose: Letter, A4 or Legal?
Use the one your printer holds. Letter is the standard in the United States and Canada; A4 is used almost everywhere else; Legal is taller and works well for a tall planner. The tool suggests a size based on the country, and you can change it.
How reliable are the holidays?
The U.S. federal holidays follow the law (5 U.S.C. 6103), including the Friday or Monday on which each one is observed when it falls on a weekend. Holidays set by states, schools or employers are not included, so check your own schedule.
Can I make a school calendar?
Yes. Choose a range such as August to May, pick the planner design, turn on space for notes and type the school or class name as the title. Print one page per month or all the months on a single sheet.
How are the moon phases calculated?
With a standard astronomical algorithm (Jean Meeus). The error is a few minutes, so the printed day can differ by one if a phase happens near midnight in your time zone. The icons are the usual northern hemisphere ones.
Is anything uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is built in your browser, and the title you type never leaves your device. The link you can share only stores your options in the address.
One calendar for every need
Use it for the fridge, the office, the clinic, the classroom or a paper planner. There are four designs: classic (a clean grid with the number at the top left), minimal (thin lines only, to save ink), planner (tall boxes with writing lines and a notes column) and large numbers (easy to read from across the room).
How to print without cut-off margins
Choose the same paper size your printer holds. When you print, leave the scale at 100% or “Actual size”. Each page keeps 0.5 in (12 mm) margins, but some printers cannot reach the edge: if a page looks cropped, check that the print dialog did not switch to a different paper size. To save ink, turn on black and white or pick the minimal design.
Which paper to pick
- Letter: the standard in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
- A4: the standard almost everywhere else.
- Legal: taller, a good fit for the vertical planner.
- A3: for a wall calendar; it needs a large-format printer or a print shop.
Ranges, school years and weeks
Print any range of up to 60 months, a full year with one month per page, or all twelve months on one sheet. Week numbers follow ISO 8601: week 1 is the week with the first Thursday of the year. For the exact dates of each holiday, see federal holidays, or count the days between two dates with the business days calculator.
