Your browser is too old for this tool
It can’t read or create audio. Update Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari and try again.
Your browser doesn’t include audio WebCodecs, so its own decoder is used. It works the same with MP3, WAV, M4A, and FLAC; very long audio may take longer, and OGG isn’t available.
You can drag more files into the box above.
Output format
To create M4A (AAC), your browser downloads a ≈ 250 KB encoder once, only if it doesn’t include one. On a mobile connection this can take a few seconds.

How to use it
- Drop your audio files into the box or select them from your device. Videos work too: their audio is used. You can load up to 20 at once.
- Choose the output format and the quality. Below, you will see how large the result would be before you start.
- If you need to, open “More options” to change the sample rate, switch to mono, normalize the volume, trim the start and end, or add a title and artist.
- Select “Convert audio,” listen to the result, and download it. If you converted several files, they download together in a ZIP.
Frequently asked questions
Why convert OGG to MP3?
OGG Opus is very efficient and common on the web, but not every player, car, or program can open it. MP3 is the most compatible format and doesn’t fail.
Does it work for voice recordings?
Yes, and at 64 or 96 kbps the file stays very small. For music, use 192 kbps or higher so the compression isn’t noticeable.
Is there a size limit?
There is no artificial limit; the real limit is your device’s memory. You can load files of up to 4 GB each and convert up to 20 at a time.
OGG and MP3
OGG Opus compresses very well and is used on the web, but its compatibility is limited outside the browser. Every phone, car, and device plays MP3. Converting OGG to MP3 is the way to make sure your audio plays wherever you take it.
How to do it
The output format is already set to MP3. Drop your OGG files, choose the quality (192 kbps for music, 96 for speech), and download. If there are several, they are delivered in a ZIP. Since the OGG was already compressed, the MP3 may be about the same size: the benefit is compatibility. For other pairs, use M4A to MP3 or the audio converter.
