Bounce game
Draw lines under the ball so it bounces and stays in the air. The closer to the center of the line you hit it, the more points you earn.
Draw lines under the ball so it bounces and gets as high as possible without falling.
Tips
- Drag your pointer or finger to draw a line; it is used up on the first bounce.
- The dotted line shows where the ball is heading; the dot marks where it will hit your line.
- Hitting the center of the line scores more points and gives more lift than hitting an edge.
- Each bounce makes the ball heavier and the line bounces it less: aim for center hits.
- With a keyboard: arrow keys or WASD move the cursor, Q and E rotate the line, Space places it, and Esc or P pauses.

How to use it
- Drag your pointer or finger under the ball to draw a short line; it is used up on the first bounce.
- Hit the ball with the center of the line: it scores more points and gives the ball more lift than an edge.
- Draw another line before the ball falls past the bottom edge; only one line is active at a time.
- Follow the dotted line: it predicts the path, and the dot marks where the ball will hit your line.
- If you prefer the keyboard, move the cursor with the arrow keys, rotate the line with Q and E, and place it with Space.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play the bounce game?
The ball falls and bounces off the side walls and the ceiling. You draw lines under it to send it back up: each line lasts for just one bounce and then disappears. The game ends if the ball falls past the bottom edge.
Why do I sometimes score more points from the same bounce?
Because it matters where the ball lands. If it hits the center of the line, the hit is worth up to five points and gets more lift; if it hits near an edge, it is worth less and goes up less.
Why does the ball bounce less and less?
Each bounce off a line makes the ball a little heavier: gravity goes up and the bounce goes down. The weight indicator on the screen shows how much it has grown. That is why it pays to aim for center hits.
Can I draw very long lines or leave several ready?
No. Each line is trimmed to a maximum length, and you can only have one active: when you draw a new one, the previous one is discarded. That way the game rewards aim, not stockpiling.
Can I play without a mouse?
Yes. Use the arrow keys or WASD to move a cursor, Q and E to rotate the line, Space to place it, and Esc or P to pause. The current angle is always shown on the screen.
Where is my best score saved?
In your own browser: when each game ends, your best score and your last seven are saved, along with a chart so you can see your progress. Nothing is sent to a server.
Bounce game rules
- The ball falls with gravity and bounces off the left, right, and top walls.
- You draw lines under the ball; each line lasts for one bounce and then disappears.
- Only one line is active: drawing another discards the previous one. The length is limited.
- A hit on the center of the line is worth up to five points and gives more lift; the edges give less.
- Each bounce makes the ball heavier and less bouncy, so the pace picks up.
- You lose if the ball falls past the bottom edge.
How to aim better
Before you draw, look at the path: the ball keeps its horizontal speed, so it bounces off the side walls along a predictable diagonal. Place the line just under the spot the ball will pass through and try to make the center of the line meet the ball. A shorter line is easier to center but covers less; a long one forgives sideways error at the cost of a smaller bonus at the ends.
Weight and pace
With every bounce, the effective gravity grows and the energy the line gives back goes down. At first the ball rises almost as high as it fell; over time each hit lifts it less, and you need to react sooner. The weight number on the screen sums up that progress: if it climbs fast, favor center hits to regain height.
Strategy and common mistakes
The most common mistake is drawing too low and too late: once the ball is near the bottom edge, there is almost no margin. Another habit that costs points is chasing the ball with the edge of the line instead of waiting for it at the center. During the first bounces, build up center bonuses and keep the bottom of the screen as your safety net.
Aiming aids
The dotted line draws the ball’s predicted path, and a dot marks the exact spot where it will hit your line; the color and the text tell you whether the hit will be centered. Near the bottom edge a danger band appears, and if there is no line in place, a written warning tells you the ball is about to fall. With those cues you are no longer reacting blind: you can see the crossing before it happens.
Keyboard and touch controls
On a phone, drag your finger to draw and use the large buttons to place or rotate the line. On a computer you can play with a mouse or a keyboard: the arrow keys or WASD move the cursor, Q and E rotate the line, Space places it, and Esc or P pauses the game. All the controls work the same on any device.
