Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The pages are deleted inside your browser and the document never leaves your device, so it is safe to use with private files.
How do I delete the blank pages of a scan?
Select “Select blank pages.” The tool checks each page and selects the ones with no visible content, ignoring small scanner noise. Review the thumbnails before continuing: you can deselect any page with one click.
Can I delete several pages at once?
Yes. Click the thumbnails, hold Shift to select a range, or type ranges like “2, 5-7, 10-.” You can also use “Odd,” “Even,” or “Invert” to select whole groups.
Is quality lost when deleting pages?
No. The pages you keep are copied as they are, without being compressed again. The text stays selectable and the images keep their resolution.
Can I delete all the pages?
No, a PDF needs at least one page. If you select them all, the button is disabled and we let you know.
What happens to internal links and bookmarks?
Links that pointed to deleted pages are removed so the file does not drag the whole document along. Outline bookmarks are not kept; if you need them, use a full PDF editor.
Delete pages without losing the rest
Removing a cover page, a duplicated sheet, or the empty pages a scanner leaves behind are everyday tasks. This tool creates a new PDF with the pages you keep and does not touch the original file, so you can always go back.
A practical case
You were sent a 20-page contract with a company cover page and several blank sheets at the end. Select the cover with one click, choose “Select blank pages” to add the empty ones, check the summary, and download the new PDF. If you need the cover later, the original file is still intact.
Tips
- Double-sided scans: if the scanner produces a blank sheet for every front without a back, use “Select blank pages” and review the result.
- Deselect with one click any page that was selected by mistake before deleting.
- After deleting, compress the file or reorder the remaining pages with the suggested tools.
