How to use it
- Drag your images into the box or select them from your device. It accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, HEIC, and TIFF, up to 50 at a time.
- Check the result in the viewer: the original is on the left and the compressed image on the right. Drag the divider to compare, and zoom with Ctrl + scroll (⌘ + scroll on a Mac), with two fingers, or with the zoom buttons. Double-click to switch between fit and 100%.
- Move the quality slider, pick a shortcut (Web, Email, Best quality, or Smallest size), or set a format, a size, or a maximum file size. Every change shows up instantly, with the new file size and the percentage saved.
- Go through the batch in the image strip. If one image needs different treatment, select it and turn on “Adjust only this image.”
- Download the image you are viewing, or all of them together in a ZIP, from the summary bar.
Frequently asked questions
How much quality does a photo lose at 100 KB?
It depends on the original size. In large photos you notice it when zooming in, but at screen size it usually looks fine. Use the comparison viewer at 100% zoom to check.
Does it keep transparency?
If you choose PNG or WebP, yes. If the destination asks for JPG, transparent areas are filled with a background color, white by default. You can change it in the options.
Can I compress several at once?
Yes. Drop in up to 50 images and they are all compressed to the same limit. Download them separately or all together in a ZIP.
The very common 100 KB limit
The 100 KB cap shows up in job application forms, scholarships, resumes, and upload systems. This page already has that value selected so all you have to do is drop in the image. The tool looks for the best quality that fits in that size and, if it does not, reduces the dimensions.
Before and after
With the slider you compare the original and the compressed image, and zooming to 100% lets you check the detail. If the result works for you, download it; the size before and after appears on each file. For a smaller limit use under 50 KB or open the full tool.
