How to use it
- Drag your images into the box or select them from your device. You can add several at once.
- Choose how to resize: by pixels, by percentage, or by longest side. You can also select a preset such as Full HD or Avatar.
- If you want, change the format, quality, and resolution (DPI). The result updates on its own.
- Download each image separately or all of them together in a ZIP.
Frequently asked questions
Why is 1080x1080 such a common size?
It is the square size used for feed posts on social networks. At that size the image looks sharp and does not get compressed any further.
Is the image cropped?
Yes. The “Fill” fit makes the photo cover the whole square and crops what does not fit, centered. If you do not want to lose anything, switch to “Fit”.
Can I process several photos at once?
Yes. Add up to 100 images and all of them are fitted to the same square. You can download them one by one or together in a ZIP.
The 1080x1080 square
1080x1080 pixels is the most widely used square size on social media. Posting at that size keeps the app from cropping or recompressing your photo on its own, and it preserves detail.
Post without surprises
The tool crops the image to the center to fill the square and keeps as much quality as possible when shrinking. If your photo is very tall or wide and you do not want to lose the edges, choose “Fit” so it shows up whole. For a widescreen format, try resize to 1920x1080; for other sizes, use the full resize tool.
