How to use it
- Drop one or more PDFs into the box, or choose them from your device.
- Choose the compression level: Low keeps almost all the detail, Recommended balances size and quality, and Extreme shrinks as much as it can. If you need a specific size, turn on “Fit to a size” and type the MB.
- Select “Compress PDF.” You will see how much each file weighed and how much it weighs now, with a before and after preview.
- Download the result. If you compressed several files, you can download them all together in a ZIP.
Frequently asked questions
Can every PDF reach 100 KB?
No. It is a very small limit: PDFs with photos or scans may not get under it without losing a lot of quality. The tool tries stronger and stronger compression and, if it cannot get there, it tells you and offers the lightest result possible.
Can I compress several PDFs at once?
Yes. Add as many files as you like and all of them are fitted to the same 100 KB target. Each one is processed separately and you can download them together in a ZIP.
Does it work for a form that asks for an exact size?
It is a good starting point. Many forms require less than 100 KB per file; if your PDF does not shrink that much, try the “Maximum” level or cut the document down before uploading it.
When you need a PDF under 100 KB
Some online forms and procedures reject large files and ask for a PDF below 100 KB. It is a very small limit: it can only be reached if the document has little text and few images, or if every page is turned into a heavily compressed image. This page leaves the target set so you do not have to look for it.
What to do if it will not go under 100 KB
The tool tries stronger and stronger compression and, if it still cannot get there, it tells you and offers the lightest result possible. If the form accepts nothing else, try the “Maximum” level or cut the document down first. For a more realistic limit, use compress to 200 KB or go back to the compress PDF tool.
